FAQs
-
Yes, all products that Husstle Tick and Mosquito Control use are safe and eco-friendly. They are botanical and essential oil based and dry within 30-60 minutes.
-
The manufacturer recommends every 14 days for mosquitoes and every 3-4 weeks for ticks. We can spray as little or as often as the customer would like.
-
The technician will apply the insecticide using a gas powered backpack sprayer that will contain a mixture of water and the eco-friendly insecticide. The mist it produces is safe to breathe in and does not have any toxic properties.
-
The manufacturer recently changed the ingredients in their products, which now reduces phytotoxicity. We avoid applying to flowering plants, such as rose bushes on extremely hot days.
-
No, the insecticide formula contains adjuvants that once dried (usually within 30 minutes) helps the insecticide remain on the turf and ornamentals/foliage during rainfall. However, excessive rain can increase the breakdown of the insecticide, and it is recommended to reapply on the shorted side of the manufacturer’s re-application rate.
About Us
Owner/Operator Matt Huss, started this company to make customer’s backyards a safer and more enjoyable environment by not having to worry about your children and pets picking up ticks and/or getting numerous mosquito bites. After seeing friends and pets contract and be impacted by vector-borne illnesses such as Lyme, Tularemia and Anaplasmosis, it drove him to create his own company that can strongly reduce the population of ticks and mosquitoes on people’s property. The product he uses is botanical and essential-oil based and also helps with mosquitoes. Husstle Tick and Mosquito Control also offers a similar product that works against annoying insects such as ants, spiders, stink bugs and beetles. We can apply as often or as seldom as you like, we have flexible spraying plans and can work with homeowners to match what works best for their budget. Reach out today for a free estimate!
